Day 1
Arrival at Adana, drive to Birecik. En route visit a newly discovered site for White-throated and Pied Kingfishers.
Day 2-3
Visit the breeding sites for Bald Ibis. Drive along Euphrates rivers and spectacular wadis to look for Middle Eastern Specialities such as Desert Finch, Dead-sea Sparrow, Menetries Warbler and Greater Rock Nuthatch.
Day 4-5
Drive further east to visit vast arid stepps to look for migrant flocks of 1000+ Sociable Plovers, together with Harrier, thousands of wintering Common Cranes, Great Bustard, Black Francolin, See-see Patridge.
Day 6-7
Spend more time in the vast wetlands, lagoons and dunes of the deltas of Seyhan, Ceyhan river, Yumurtalik Lagoon and Lake Akyatan for wintering waterfowl, waders and cranes together with the arrival of the first migrants, Ferruginous Duck, Dalmatian and White Pelicans, Greater Sand Plover.
